We've been growing more and more accustomed to acronyms as names for many devices, services, types of media, and beyond. From the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA), American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to types of media, like the Joint Photographic Experts Group which brought the world the JPEG and the very convenient Portable Document Format (PDF).
